VARIATIONS IN SEXOLOGICAL BODYWORK CERTIFICATE TRAININGS
Internationally, there are presently five loosely-affiliated schools offering certification in Sexological Bodywork and Somatic Sex Education. All of the trainings are based on the same core curriculum, which is available for you to study and learn from.
You will need to explore which certification training will best serve you and your needs. Cost of these trainings varies greatly. Some trainings are six months long; others are up to three years in length. Some emphasize bodywork; others emphasize neuroscience. Some train you to do individual sessions; others train you to offer both sessions and classes.
The best way to make a decision is to speak with graduates from the schools you are interested in. Ask the graduates how prepared they were to offer professional classes and sessions after they graduated. Remember, there are five different approaches to somatic sex education being offered in five different schools. Be sure to choose the certificate training that will offer you the education you are seeking.
